Tree Plantation Program

Tree plantation plays a critical role in sustaining the environment and combating climate change. Trees absorb carbon dioxide, helping to reduce greenhouse gases and lower our global carbon footprint. In fact, a single mature tree can absorb up to 48 pounds of carbon dioxide each year and produce enough oxygen to sustain two people. With deforestation and environmental degradation on the rise, planting trees is one of the most effective ways to restore balance to ecosystems, prevent soil erosion, improve air quality, and provide habitats for wildlife.

At Dreams For Tomorrow, we actively engage students in environmental stewardship through our Tree Plantation Program. Every year, students from all our centers across Bangladesh plant trees on their school premises. However, this initiative doesn’t stop at planting—students are also given the responsibility to nurture and care for their trees. This hands-on approach ensures that students not only learn about environmental conservation but also contribute to long-term sustainability. By empowering students with the responsibility of tree care, we foster a deeper understanding of their role in protecting the planet for future generations.
