Science in Practice
In many schools, science is often taught through blackboard lectures and memorization, leaving little room for experimentation and hands-on learning. Students miss out on the joy of discovery, as the subject becomes something to memorize rather than explore. Unfortunately, most schools face challenges such as under-equipped laboratories and teachers lacking the necessary training to conduct experiments. This limits students’ ability to engage with science in a meaningful way, diminishing their curiosity and understanding of the subject.
At Dreams For Tomorrow, we are addressing this gap through our Science in Practice project. We convert high school science theories into practical, real-world experiments that can be conducted using low-cost materials and waste products. These experiments are designed to be simple, engaging, and easy to perform, whether in the classroom or at home. By providing teachers and students with accessible resources, we make science fun and interactive, helping students develop a deeper interest in the subject and fostering a hands-on approach to learning that brings science to life..
